Scott E. Jones, MHA, FACHE
Chief Operating Officer
Scott Jones is the Chief Operating Officer at the University of Illinois Hospital & Clinics.
Scott joined UI Health in October 2019 as Chief Ambulatory Operations Officer. He added the role of Interim Chief Operating Officer in August 2023, and he was named Chief Operating Officer in May 2025. Prior to joining UI Health, he served as president and CEO of the Cancer Treatment Centers of America’s Comprehensive Care & Research Center in the Chicago region. He has also served in multiple leadership roles at ECU Health in Greenville, North Carolina. In addition, he has held the responsibility of being an Administrative Fellowship Mentor for many years at both CTCA and ECU. Scott earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Hospital & Health Administration from Xavier University. He has been a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives since 1999.
