Joel Lisen is a physical therapist in the Department of Orthopaedics at UI Health. Dr. Lisen specializes in orthopaedic and multi-trauma conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and physiotherapeutic scoliosis-specific exercises (PSSE) for adolescents and adults. He has expertise in managing pelvic and spinal conditions that contribute to poor posture and chronic pain, and his treatment approach integrates advanced manual therapy, 3D therapeutic exercise techniques, neuro-education, and proprioceptive strategies to optimize recovery and functional outcomes.
