Dr. Oana Danciu practices in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at UI Health. After receiving her Medical Degree at Carol Davila University in Bucharest, Romania, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship in cancer biology at Northwestern University in Chicago. Dr. Danciu specializes in the treatment of breast cancer patients. Her research interests include the development of clinical trials using experimental therapeutics. Dr. Danciu is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. She also spearheads the University of Illinois Cancer Center’s  Phase 1 clinical trials, which are dedicated to developing new agents that offer patients with advanced solid tumors innovative treatment options.
